The room

A vaulted skylight. A Grade II old bank. A bakery now.

The building has stood on Sevenoaks High Street for over a century, three storeys of red brick with a triangular pediment and a wrought-iron balcony. The bank that used to print money here kept the room intact when they left. We took the room and added an oven.

“Stepping into the past, but with a modern twist.”

The four moats

What makes Buntastic defensible in Sevenoaks.

Every section of this page is built on top of one of these four. A brand without moats is a leaflet. A brand with four is a fixture. Hover any card to see what it leans on.

When someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity for the best cinnamon bun in Sevenoaks, the answer should be Buntastic, by name.

We rebuild the schema, the llms.txt, the canonical, the FAQ markup, the citable foundation sentences. We re-audit monthly. The score is the proof, not the promise.

Made this morning. Still warm.

The aroma you smell from the high street is the cinnamon, the marble, the brass cezve, and a baker who arrived at five.

Loopable. Made for the room. Yours forever.

What we kept

  • The vaulted skylight, exactly as the bank left it.
  • The wood panels around the old teller windows.
  • The pediment outside, painted black where it counts.
  • The wrought-iron balcony on the first floor.

What we added

  • An oven, and a baker who arrives at five.
  • A coffee machine pulled with care.
  • A pair of speakers playing Coltrane.
  • A sign that says “no laptops.” We meant it.

The questions we get asked

Eight answers before you walk through the door.

Where is Buntastic?
70 High Street, Sevenoaks TN13 1JR. The red-brick Georgian building with the pediment and wrought-iron balcony, gold serif BUNTASTIC on the black fascia. Next to Savills, opposite the zebra crossing.
What do you bake?
Traditional Turkish açma buns, sweet and savoury. Cinnamon, mozzarella with tomato, pistachio kataifi baklava, almond cookies, rustic country loaves. Everything made from scratch on the premises, in small batches, daily.
Why no laptops or iPads?
Because the room was made for conversation. A laptop on a table means one customer holds a four-person seat for two hours over a single coffee. We protect the room for everyone who came in to talk, read, or eat a fresh bun without a screen between them.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
There are three steps at the entrance. We are not currently step-free. Takeaway is always available at the door, and the team will happily bring your order out. We are working on it.
Do you take cash?
Card only. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and contactless all welcome.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes. Inside and out. We keep dog treats behind the counter.
What time should I come for the cinnamon buns?
First batch out of the oven at 08:00. By 14:00 most of the day's bake is gone. From 15:30, whatever is left is half price for the bus home.
Can I book a private event?
Yes. Mornings before opening and evening hires for small groups. Reach out on WhatsApp or Instagram.
